day 389: new style?
was my day off from uni today and well all i did was slept in =D. because i was playing COD till like 4am in the morning ahahahahaha... received a wake up call from work asking if i could do a 11 to 5 instead of my closing shift. i accepted it at first but then i called back to reject it because i was tired and wanted to sleep in. also i had a info session for some volunteer work that i'm interested in going. of course i did not end up going to it because i was way too tired i just slept past it =\.
well about the volunteering program, well the uni is doing a program where people/students can be an overseas volunteer for various programs in different countries. such as conservation and teaching programs. as much as i have the interest in doing it. i mean i get to learn something at the same time help others. and even better is having to do it overseas!!! BONUS!!! but as always i like to say; why can't i be wealthy??? i don't think i can afford the trip there and back... just a bit too much even trying to save up these days because off my government money was cancelled.
had quite a nice chat with sammy boy after work at the pub tonight. found out that he will be moving out of canberra by the end of the year. quite sad but at the same time happy for him. it's a shame losing such a good friend but i'm sure we'll keep in contact =]. happy for him that his finding his path in life.
well... early lecture tomorrow so better get to bed. NIGHTS!!!! x3
