day 271: happy =]

from today onwards i'm considered as an australian =].

from this time forward,

i pledge me loyalty to Australia and its people,

whose democratic beliefs i share,

whose laws i will uphold and obey.

was these words that completed my pledge as an australian citizen =]

well to be honest the whole presentation thing was fairly boring. i mean it was just talks for an hour or so ==. i waited a fair bit before the mayor started the ceremony and i nearly fell asleep. oh well im proud of myself =].

woahhhhhh... there is a big temperature/weather fluctuation these days. was boiling like a few days ago and the last two days been cold. i mean i was freezing my ass off lastnight sleeping with only a thin sheet since the thick one was put away. but i prefer this weather more because you can always put on more clothes when your cold but you only have the limits to strip down to naked when your hot =P.

don't know weather to be happy or not but the weather went from boiling hot yesterday to the rain of today. weather is soooo weird these days =\. but anyways, been back home 2 days nows and realised my bedroom has been turned into a storeroom for my sister's stuff and a place for her to jump on the bed ==. well i've been helping out on the farm these 2 days and i have to say i kind of missed it ahahahahaha...

tomorrow's my citizenship ceremony... not that excited but just need to go and grab the certificate ahahahahahaha...

day 268: Happy

at last after like 8 days of work i'm finally back home in sydney =] loving it!!! met up with jack today as he will be catching the plane back to Hong Kong tomorrow morning. it just happened that i needa come back to sydney this week as well to attend my citizenship ceremony so we decided to meet up in sydney before he goes back home. i arrived in sydney at 4.30 this afternoon and just sat/walked around till his bus arrived. we wanted to go on the same bus but couldn't because it was booked out or something by the time he told me his trip details =\. but yeah! decided to have a little farewell dinner with himand obviously it was my shout =]. we walked around city after (drinking for bit but not a lot, we ended up having to throw out 2 unopened bottles! quite disappointing really). the day was great! hope you have a fun holidays back home lar. take care lar, will see you when you're back from hong kong.

well that was my first day back in sydney! weather was not too hot like the day it was over 40.

hope my week will get better. catching up with friends will be a must.

day 267: uber hot!

thought yesterday was hot today was over 37 and in sydney was over 40!!! i mean that is insane and its not even summer yet! but yeah, epic fail in dying my hair today =\ not that i failed in dying it back to black but rather failed in leaving stains all over my hands =\. my hands were soooo black it took ages to get it to look a bit faded =[ and i tried to go pricelines before starting work to buy some skin toner (because in the instructions it say toners will remove stains on skins) but they just happen to not know where it is! and the guy suggested a thing called fudge wipes that should remove it. so i brought it and NOTHING HAPPENED! arghhhh did not even work. you might think why didn't u wear gloves? well i did wear gloves but the dye kept dripping after i applied it =\. this is my first time dying my hair myself so i will be noooby.

one week break starts after doign my last close for the week =] last shift before going back home!!! =D. soooo happpy! get to see the fambam and the lovely friends =D.

day 266: even hotter

today was even hotter than the yesterday! oh my god it was over 30s and i literally died from the health. first thing was waking up with a blood nose again! this is like the second time this week =\, woke up a bit late today when i suppose to be up early to meet up with jack to just do anything ahahahahahaha... was tooo hot to do anything so just walked around mall under the air con hehehehehehe

one more day of work and i get to have a week off to go home!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! seeing jordan's presentation for the studio project tomorrow =D

day 265: hot

another hot day and another day of work =]. i slept in today when i supposed to have an appointment at 1pm to dye my hair back to black =]. why im smiling? because the day before i was talking to jin on msn and he said to do it yourself as it is cheaper. i thought i would try that but i already booked in for the appointment. then this morning i did wake up in time but i decided to go back to sleep (on purpose heheh ^^) and just decided to get a no show for my appointment. they won't know who i am so it is all good =]. work was soooooooooo busy tonight and there was only 2 on close... arghhhhh we got slammed all night! was just a constant flow of customers that did not give us a chance to do pre-close =\. did not get out till 12.3o so that is fairly slow of a close.

just a few more days till sydney =D.

day 264: annoyed

hayfever can be such an annoying illness especially when it is getting to your sleep =\. i have not been able to get some good sleep for the past few days because of this )=[. and my nose is always blocked or it is bloody. i woke up with a bloody nose this morning and while in the the bathroom it started bleeding! i just wish it can stop already =\.

really tired after work today because we had to clean everything tonight for something tomorrow that i simply did not care about ahahahahaha... but we did not get to go till like 1am. so should get OT for that =P.

i booked myself in to dye my hair tomorrow back to black so i don't get in trouble with the parents when i go back home. but after talking to jin i have second thoughts that i should do it myself. only one reason and that is to save money =D. any ideas???

days 262 & 263: too sore and tired

the close and open really really tired me out these time. i was falling asleep during my shift literally and had to keep working to keep myself up. there was like occasional burst of energy that i could work really fast but after that it is as slow as a snail. i finally decided to buy some hayfever relief medication after work and it is really taking affect at the moment =] happy i don;t have itchy eyes anymore because that was annoying. came home after work and showered then slept till next morning at 11 =]... awesome sleep.

was another hot day and had work. my muscle are sooooo sore from working out. not that im much of a workout person but yeah slowly getting there. would love to have a massage at the moment =]

day 261: lovely day

ouchhhh only realised when i got home that i got sun burnt today while at the pool. weather was hot so the pool was just the right thing to do. but the only thing about it is you get bored easily. because there is hardly anything to do at the pool especially with all the rules and stuff. but there were like 2 good slides at the pool we went to today (the big splash in jamison). still it got boring after a while.

then went for a short short time to the work bbq just to grab some food. got to take my hatred out on junior! muahahahahaha yes!!!

work was okay tonight. can't complain =]. have to say yet another close and then open =] not sure if it's something to smile about or something to cry over but guess it's okay. because it meant to be daniel's open but he was tooo tired from the pool that he gave it to me =P. soo money for me and he gets some rest =P. all works out =D

days 259 & 260

oops i fell asleep after work lastnight =\... i tried going to the exercise park after work but they were watering the fields so i can't go =\ so i came home and worked out and just got tired. i remember lying in bed and the next thing was waking up ahahhahahaha...

i finally got my haircut... been longing to get one but just never had time due to the amount of assignments i got for uni and if not i was too lazy because i wanted to rest. but i thought i had to get one because it was getting way too long and my fringe always get in my way. it always like jab itself into my eyes it's annoying. so i was like short hair it is for summer =D. the thing is i ever seem to be able to get my message across to the hairdressing about the way i want to cut my hair. it never seem to come out the way i wanted but oh well... doesn't matter hair grows =]

caught up with jack today since he finished his exams. had dinner which was very yummy, have not had a meal this good for a while ^^. it was soooo full i felt really sick after when we decided to go for a few drinks. by that i mean alcohol. what more you want when you're finished with uni aye =] of course a few drinks to release all them stress you had over these few weeks with assignments and exams. good night overall.

day 258: HOT

it has been the second day in a row that the temperature is over 30degrees! i wanted to go get a haircut but it was toooo hot to go outside ==. i did not leave the house unless i had to which was when i had to walk to work ahahahaha... had another midnight workout with daniel tonight =] funny thing was we were working out and the sprinklers went off ! ahahahahahahahaha we were just like ohhhh sh!t and ran ahahahahahaha....

i paid a visit to the studio on the way home because i thought i would see some works from the ast submission =] happened to saw a friend from the course and he said he was helping someone with CAD in the labs... realised it was someone i know so i went to say hi and see if i could help out. did not get to go home till like 4 but it's all good, my internet's capped anyways so i could use the uni's internet =P. on the way home i was confronted by a police car and i thought it was quite weird. they just pulled next to me and asked if i was going home ahahaha.... well i saw them drive into uni but i did nto really care since i did not do anything wrong. one thing i found out is normally when strangers ask 'how's going?' 9 out of 10 i would reply "yeah not too bad or im fine thanks yourself" i don't know why... i guess it's like an involuntary action... scenarios like that normally end up me going "why didn't i say something else instead?". like tonight i was thinking why didn't i say "well if i had to stay in uni till 4 i guess it's bad" ahahahahaha.... oh well

day 257: start of my holidays =D

my first day of holidays, officially, and it was SIZZLING! sooooo hot. the thermometer hitted 32. when i woke up from my massive sleep hehehehehehehe i was like "man i should of never woke up!" ahahahahahahahaha... at first it was okay and then slowly i felt the heat =\. was thinking about going for a haircut today but was too hot to get outside at the afternoon. i got called in for work but that wasn't till like night so i did not bothered, only went to grab some groceries before work and that was it =].

work was the usual... i don't know why but sam boy has been moody these days. well hope he gets back to the usual samsam.

well as you may already know im a regular listener to hongkongs chik chuk radio station and tonight out of the blues it stopped working =\. its like an essential in my life ahahahaha need to listen to it every day and night... even in my sleep =]. soooo hope it will work soon.

days 253-256: at last ! =]

yo yo yo!!! im back to blogging my daily life after a busy busy week with design tech and studio stuff, but finally finished today at 11.30 =].

again it was a last minute job and i have to say it was fairly dodgey!

alright, let me walk you through my 4days of hell starting from friday. after the recovery thursdays from design tech i had to start working on my studio but before anything i had to get time off from work. supposedly i was meant to work on both days of the weekend and i did not want to as that is nearly 15 hours worth of assignment time gone. so i went through a great deal of time to get it replace (im sorry sam if that messed up everything... was one of them shifts that i really really cannot do). lucky i did or else i would of never ever finished it on time. but yeah my week couldn't of been worse when i got back from replacing my shifts and the mall for materials, i found my contour model and drawings from last submission to have been stolen )=[. it was there a few hours ago when i went to put my stuff there so after coming back from the mall i could work on it in the studio. i was soooo devastated that everything was gone! everything frmo that previous submission! it just vanished!

after that was just 3 nights of intense work and rush... as usual whenever i make a model my room become a total mess. literally i had stuff all over the floor that whenever i had to get up to go somewhere i had to step on my stuff to get out. on i fell asleeo on both occasions on friday and saturday. i think saturday was the night where i laid in bed with my concept model trying to figure out the interior layouts and then the next thing i know was waking up still with my glasses on the lights are still switched on and the concept model dropped on the floor next to the bed. ^^

hectic rush on sunday. it was an allnighter yet again. finished off the model (which looked dodgey) sometime in the middle of the night and did not start the drawings till like 3am. it took longer as i tried to fit in on an a3 with 1:100 scale. did not work and being stressed out as i was already i did not think and started to try to do it on CAD with a 1:200 scale so i can trace it later. did not click in after like an hour later that we could use a2 in our presentation. by then it was about 4hours till deadline... from then on was rush rush rush! suppose to do 3 sections but only did one which i thought would be enough to show the interior. talking about drawing it was the biggest bitch to draw them =\. with all that curve and stuff it was hard to draw them elevations (just happened that i did not remember anything about drawing elevations from first semester q=.='p). but yeah i finished in time... finalised all my drawings at 9am and was like wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo im done!

did not realised my presentation time was at 11.45 so i had time to shower and eat breakky before mustafa come pick me up after his presentation. compared to other tutorial groups our one was soooooo quick. quick and easy =]. other groups, the tutor and juror was talking with the presenter for like 30mins where as ours it was like a few minutes and that is it ==. very informal as well as i was mumbling throughout the whole time going hmmmm huh yea AHAHAHAHAHA... again my comments on my work was my drawings really let me down ='[. had to little time to do a perfect drawing. and anothet thing ahahahah apparently i had an impossible structure! and i was like i reckon it is structurally possible to have it cantilevered out ahahahahah... then i said to my friend 'we never going to build it so might as well design something impossible'. and now when i think about, i remember from drawing lecture 'when you defy the logics, impossible objects appear' ^^ (or something like that).

but yeah photos of my project should be up as soon as i take some quality snaps and everyone can see how dodgey it is ahahahaha

lunch with muse and caroline after presentation and then was sleep time from 14.30 onwards! till 12.30 i woke up and can't go back to bed anymore =\. from today i am on 3month break... so chill out yo =]

days 247-252: upset

well its been a while since i last wrote here and there is a valid reason. i had 2 massive massive 75% (35% and 40%) weighting assignments due this week on wednesday for design technology =\.... the outcome of this week was just about as bad as it could of been and possibly the worst ever ending to a year =\. pretty much since my last post i have been working on them two assignments. a few all nighters and literally i was sick and tired of them assignments. i had an epic 30 or more hours in the uni computer labs on tuesday and through to wednesday. me, mustafa, daniel and bec was just there for that whole time... and guess what!!!! we did not get it done in time! all the sleepless nights and effort! we did not get it done in time which is going to take 10% off the final mark. im soooooooo forever regretting having to fall asleep on monday morning and working on that night! arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! luck i got one of them in on time while the other one was like hours late only... what can i say now little thinking about doing ==... but at the time off handing it in i seriously could not have cared less about anymore anymore... i just wanted to get it out of my way... was sooo tired and sooo sick of it! but nevertheless *fingerscrossed*

after studio work i am free for 3 months... i need to put a lot of effort into this assignment
