Sending Out Best Wishes For Samoa Tsunami Victims

i think the title explains it all so i won't go into much detail. this morning (australia time) a 8.something, i forgot sorry, earthquake struck in the oceans near samoa causing a tsunami. the new images pans our memories back to the tsunami that hit east asia a few years ago.

i just want to send out my wishes to all the victims over there. thanks to all the emergency units helping out over there. STAY STRONG! help is on their way. our heart is one of the strongest entities we possess so stay strong and a bright light will shine the bleak tunnel.

day 227: last day of september =]

i did not even notice today was the last day of september till right about now when i wrote down the date heheheheh q^.^p.

finished uni at 11.30 today as i only attended my CAD tutorial and skipped the history lecture and tutorial was cancelled. Even the CAD tute was hesitating but i had to go because i remembered i had to go uni to give a friend a textbook. after that i went to the mall for grocery, something i have not done for quite some time and i spent 80 bucks on grocery today!!! $80!!! like i was shocked!!! but i guess i can't avoid it as that's necessities =='. i had quite some bags of grocery for the walk home and god it was heavy! i was going to spend 1.90 to catch the bus but i had no coins =\. was probably the most painful walk home i had in a while lor... my shoulders were aching and i had to stop/rest a few times =\.

well at at least i had a yummy dinner tonight with many greens! =].

i was surprised that i finished the contour model quite early compared to the other projects =] i finished before midnight but doing the trees took a while... because i had to look for things that would represent a tree, and eventually i picked up some scrape paper and twisted it into a mushroom kind of shape =].... looks dodgey but represents a tree =]. shall upload a photo tomorrow =].

well after spending a lot of time on drawing all my plans, context plans, sections and etc etc i have finally finished them and now tomorrow i shall finish my model. well, technically i have to because it is due on thursday. after that im a happy chap!!!!!

tomorrow im planning to skip my lecture for history as we are behind already i might as well get it off the textbook =].

day 225: panda eyes

well technically it is tuesday and not monday morning... and this is most of the cases because i recap my day and most of the time i stay up past midnight. but okay that was my day/night... working on this project and i cannot complain more than being confused about this project. more drawings seem to emerge today and seriously this assignment was not given a proper explaination! YOU CANNOT EXPECT US TO UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING! and if we ask answers are always unclear ==... one tutor would say this but another would say that... can you guys stick with one thing before handing the brief out????

well im going to rest my eyes for a few hours before getting for studio class... this will last for 2 nights. thank god i don't have to work till thursday after the submission.

day 224: cold!

today was soooooo cold... all the weeks dust storm, winds and rain created today as a cold cold windy spring day. what happened to that warm weather that we got at the beginning of the month?

well at the moment im on busy mode with this part of the studio project due this thursday. thank god it is not due on tuesday as i thought it was. good thing because i have yet to start the model. these site analysis drawings are a pain to do =[.

well maybe i should go bed and wake up tomorrow to do some more since i don't have uni till 2.30.

days 222 & 223: just not my days

i forgot to post last night as i went to bed and by the time i realised i forgot, my bed was warmed up and the eyes were shutting so i did not get up or else i would of took another 30 mins to get back to sleep =\.

well on friday, i went back to officeworks at the afternoon to print out (reprint) things for the studio project. did not go well in the end as it took many many tries to get it to scale (1:100). well i did not get it to scale at all after spending like 12dollars worth of printing cost =\. the guy said others came in had the same problem and he printed an A0 for me free of charge as he said that is how some fixed the problem. it did but was not the size we need for the model =='... but i really appreciated his help though.

well tonight was just a total disappointment when i saw the footy. the broncos got smashed 40-10 by the storms. second consecutive year now that the storms has kicked us out in the prelim finals. not happy at all because our record against the storms are soooooooo embarrassing it is probably not a good idea to talk about it now. ='(! well all i can say now is that we have done well to get to this far into the finals despite being seen as no chances 8 weeks ago. better luck next year =]

day 221: fatigue

well i only had about 2hours of sleep last night. i had to wake up few hours earlier then my usual thursday 10.30 studio lesson to go to civic officeworks for printing. the print cost was sooo much cheaper there, i printed tonnes and it was only 5.70! being a dumbass i thought i could make the scale 1:50 but was totally wrong. what it was is that a1 is 1:200 right, so i thought yeah i will drop half of that to get 1:100 and half it again to get 1:50... lucky i asked tutors after or else it would of been totally wrong. supposedly you get the location on the section/s and put it on a3 than exploded back to a1. or something like that ahahahahahaha... well at least i found out that what i thought was 1:50 was actually 1:100 =].

another thing was that 2 classmate of mine brought foamcore from sydney in bulks. this cost much much more cheaper and then he was selling it back to other classmates for a cheap price. that way he can make back the money as well. i thought that was a really good idea for the fact that these materials are a fortune! very business brained =]

again, manuka during break ahahahahahahah definitely trying something else other than sushi next time =]. the rest of the day was smooth and cool...

work tonight was a bit off the atmosphere. just not the usual atmosphere when sammy boys here. he was more demanding and such. it also looked like everyone was pissed or something. hmmmm... guess it's just not a good day for work.

day 220: weary

yesterday was the dust storm in canberra but today it hit sydney with an even worst impact! i saw the new this morning before uni and sydney was literally covered!!! it was an apocalypse, people thought it was the end of the world. surprising i was talking to slavce tonight on msn and even he thought it it was end of the world. well wasn't there a massive weather range around australia; flooding in SA, earthquake in melbourne, dust storm in canberra and sydney with some wild winds and the bushfires in QLD...

other than that... up late as usual trying to do my essay... almost there. need to research into villa savoye now =] i might cut out the last building i was going to analyse for the word limit =]

day 219: wild wild weather!!!

woke up this morning and saw the weather was fine... a bit of sun mostly cloudy. but by the time i got out of the house to go to uni, the sky was slowly turning into orange and all thought to myself "what is wrong with the sky? it reminds me of the smokes off bush fired... or is it just overcast" till this afternoon when the news was on... there was a dust storm in broken hills and it got carried all the way across to canberra. it pretty much covered canberra, turning it to yellow/orange. over night the weather is going to be wild with strong winds, heavy rain and thundering!!! woahhhh what a night would it be... can see all of them as of writing this =[

while that is happening outside... what am i doing inside? well trying to do my essay but fell asleep and when i did wake up the words of textbooks and such just make me tired even more =='. ughhhhhhh soooooooo hard trying to write essays!

day 218: not happy ahahahaha

back to school today and like most people i seriously don't feel like school =[. only had a one hour lecture today but the lecture i thought was quite good. very relaxed till the lecturer got really angry at people talking. how rude!!!

work was not too bad tonight... busy but still a monday so not that bad and plus i was working with matty and sammy boy =]. think there was a bucks party in red rooster tonight (do not ask why there was a bucks party AT RED ROOSTER... because i wanted to know too!) but yeah everyone crossed dressed and they came into our store to get food. i could not help but stare... was HILARIOUS!!! then they left about 3 six packs of beer outside =]. lucky us we took one of them ( sammy boy did not want to be greedy =]) and that was a good after work drink there =]... it was beer so was not in my interest but i thought i would try it because matty said extra dry is about the easiest kind of beer to drink... so i had tried and thought, yeah he is right that fermented taste of beer is not as strong. reasonable but i still don't prefer it though ahahahahahaha

goal for tomorrow; FORCE MYSELF TO DO UNI WORK!!!

day 217: nice way to finish off the holidays

sammy boy organised a bbq today for some us today... the goal was to show vi and tam 'how to be aussie' ahahahhaha... unfortunately i was out of it because according to sam im aussie enough ahahahaha... was just an ordinary aussie barbie with snags. i am using these slangs for a reason =]. everyone was just trying to be aussie to show the two girls how to be an aussie ahahahahaha. was quite fun... the weather really killed it though. was windy and cloudy.... just not what will happen for a normal aussie barbie =]. then it was just work time for me from 6 till close but i got to drive ally's car again because we ran out of 4inch buns. got to talk to sammy boy on the way there and back though. it was just man's talk you know. drank a bit with them after work (well i did before work as well ahahahahahaha)...

just a nice way to end the holidays... uni tomorrow!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! that is just a nightmare =[.

day 216: happy =D

i could not be more happier today than seeing the broncos beat the minor premier's dragons to take our year to one more week and into the preliminary finals =]. the game was absolutely i thrill to watch! the broncos just out muscled them in every situation. whether if it was in attack or defence, we just blew the minor premiers away =D. our ball handling was great with a good completion rate compare to the dragons. Henjak came up with a fabulous game plan to attack the the centre field. i was very nervous after first half from last week when they played the titans. we leaked like 30 or so points in the second half and thought history might repeat itself... as well as the bad record we have against the dragons plus a even worst record in our home ground against them =[. the history did repeat itself however, but it was the victorious history that repeated itself =D. the only disappointing part was 5minutes before the final siren, Peter wallace suffered an ankle injury and fingers crossed that he will be fine for next week. good work boys!!! and thanks the dragons for a great game in front of a great crowd. Storms next week and wish them luck =D.

other than that... my day has been the usual. the bbq was cancelled and was not surprised. not much plans goes through whenever someone say they will do something anyways. it has been like that all through highschool xD. well thats all i guess... ohh yeah defqon one was one today apparently and some friends went... guess they all had a great time =].

day 215: not too bad

woke up this morning and my voice completely vanished but luckily it managed to find its way home =]. again made congee and i took some medication from my housemate. feeling okay now i guess... have to see when i wake up tomorrow.

yes that's right, i burnt myself again at work tonight. this time with the broiler =(. i was cleaning it and as i was taking out a piece my arms touched it... OUCH it was! it stung for the rest of the night. went black and now it's red-ish...

hmmmm i got the day off tomorrow... maybe something productive???? ohhh jordan might be having a bbq so that might be something to look for =]. AND FOOTY! brisbanes playing dragon. =]

day 214: ordinary day

just another ordinary day at home... for some reason day time is so hard to do uni work q-.-'p. again i made congee for my brunch (today i had a few slices of toast to go with it as wel) and yummm yummmmm.... the congee was like cooked to perfection =D.

lastnight i saw the preview for up (and a review by some channel 9 guy) and it seems good. the guy gave it 4.5/5 so im quite convinced that i should go watch it... in 3D as well! i never seen a 3D movie so maybe i should go watch. but the only thing is i need someone to go watch it with =='.

watched a bit of tvb today... was wondering whats with the mushroom hairdoo (on girls) these days for tvb series. nancy wu in DIE Again and Fala Chen in the stew of life. the most funny thing was that nancy wu in DIE Again, at a short part (maybe about 2 eps) she had long hair!!! the plot was that she was moving to become a celebrity and she had to go for a change... *Poosh* in seconds she was with long hair!!! how was that even possible!!! definitely a wig =='. I have not seen Fala Chen for a while in series now and i almost could not recognise her in the stew of life. i was like 'she looks familiar????' i was pondering for like one whole episode till i found out from the synopises that it was her!

well i should get to bed, think it is calling me... well i think it has been for the past hours but i refused to go... i was suppose to eat long long ago but was talking to my brother, which delayed it a bit and now my eyes are starting to close. got work tomorrow but sweet dreams x3

day 213: the usual, weather was quite warm actually =]

well tonight at work we got totally slammed! me, daniel and asanka was trying to get close done asap because there was alot to do for close due to national manager is coming in on friday ><. but we were soooo busy all night and did not quiet down till late. but luckily asanka worth like 2 people working so it he was capable of doing service (and help from me or daniel every now and then) while we do some cleaning =]. we did what me and daniel did last time when it was in that situation, we blocked all the drains and flooded the store! =D. then the usual scrubbing and stuff but a lot easier because it get every corner even the ones we normally can't get =]. we also had to do the same for the dining room and patio tonight =\. what was really crap was that the dining room (or should i say the store) is sloped to on one side so all the water goes on that side after =[. we did not get out till like 1am though == but better than last time was 1.30 AHAHAHAHAHA

other than that nothing interesting happened and since i got tomorrow off maybe i can continue with that essay of mine =\.

day 212: quite happy

yes that is right!!! i did some work today =]... i worked on my essay today and i did just a little bit past the intro. not alot of work but still some and is a good start =]. like i said lastnight i am sick so today i made some congee instead of having rice or whatever so it would soothe my throat more and all, however, i guess that could be cancelled when tonight i had some instant noodles ><. i know this is not good and i mean not good in general but i did not want to make rice in the middle of the night and did not want biscuits either... sandwiches??? well lets say that was the reason i did not cook rice tonight during that usual dinner time ><.

floriade has started, well it started a few days ago but i only found out about it yesterday when my friends/workmates went... i heard it was not that good but i've never been and im sure it should be wonderful with those flowers. it is inspired by the one in Netherlands which is really beautiful ! (because ah muimui chilam is lives there and i saw photos from that when she went =]). i asked stephy mui to go with me next month so i hope it will be good =].

day 211: not that happy

well it was not a happy day since i rocked up to work and everyone was just pissed off for some reason. and of course that did not cheered me up especially after finding out that i might have to go uni tomorrow to do the rest of that presentation submission i said i few days ago (you know the one with the my partner not doing what he said he would do one ???). i called him today and he would not be back in canberra till wednesday so arghhhh need to do everything myself if he returned the books already. Pissed at myself for not doing any work so far for the holidays. it is not that i don't want to do any but every time i try to start i get carried away or i'm not motivated enough to do any work ><

i got a day off tomorrow so i need to do something! even just starting that essay. i don't care what i do, just need to do something!

also... seasonal changes = sickness =\....just about every season change i get sick ><><

day 210: broiling!

the weather was wonderful today but it was not the case if you were working at hungry jacks. that place was like 40degrees or atleast it felt like it that way... was 32 outside though because i saw it while driving ally's car today (yup again was getting stock from gunnas). after today's experience i think i am not getting a car with leather seats! the seat was burning the whole way and i was wearing pants... imagine with shorts. maybe it's the leather seats reflecting heat off or another factor but the car was sooooooo hot despite having the windows down =\. then when me and matt finished work the weather was beautiful, walking home without a jumper and a good breeze. sorry to make you miss your game matty but bad luck dragons lost and so you guys are up against us next week =] going to be a good game! ohhh yeah thanks sammy boy today for buying us ice cream cake!!! me and matt surely was satisfied with that cake =D yummmmmmmmmm

day 209: happy but not happy, get me??? lovely weather though

well the happy thing was that i got the saturday off and cannot be better with the perfect weather at 20s. was sooo warm during the day but the night got a bit chilly. well i could stay home and watch the footy tonight and boy oh boy if the broncos/titans game wasn't a thriller! broncos leading in the break with 28-10 lead and i thought he had the game in our pockets. second half was just a total 180 degree turn with titans scoring 3 in a row putting the game back in within 4 points. broncos bounced back from an intercept try by hoges but titans responded with another converted try putting them 2 points within reach... however the game was beyond doubt when the beast, dave taylor, scored another intercept try within minutes before the final siren. it was a nail bitting game where i was screaming the broncos to hold on. congratulations guys we're in for another week =]

alright on the other hand, i was planning to start some uni work today but i ended up watching the footy ahahahahahahahaha, and totally not motivated for the whole day because the mind is telling me that it's holidays. well i did read the chapter i meant to read for drawing (which i did not make much sense out of it because i was reading it while watching footy and hence it took like 2 hours to read ahahahahaha....) hopefully tomorrow after work i will be able to do some work. ohh yeah i also tried to ask friends for some opinions on the site selection for my studio assignment and it was fairly well done i guess.

well i got work at 11.3o in the morning so better get some rest.

days 207 & 208: overall is content

well on thursday was just work and then drank a bit after work with workmates. i have to admit i think i was drunk, not drunk as in doing stuff i don't remember and doing crazy stuff. but i was in a state that i did not feel soooo right. i did not get much sleep that night ><>

i went to DFO today and then after movies with friends. went to DFO to buy some trackies so i can wear to uni and stuff ahahahaha and i ended up buying 2 pairs of them and a pair of jeans as well as a long sleeve shirt =]. money spent again ><. watched inglorious basterds afterwards with 2 friends. i thought it was fairly funny. it story was long but some funny parts. some randoms that was unnecessary

okay, that was the good part of them days.... the bad side is that after i came home tonight i received an email from my tutor saying she yet to have received my and brians presentation for the class. i realised that brian, my partner for the assignment, did not copy the presentation onto CD. arghhhhh... i was fairly angry because we asked who will do it and he said he will. so i brought him CDs and gave him the presentation to burn it onto CD, but he did not do it! so now i need to do it and go uni to hand it in. also he said he will do the bibliography so i gave him my books and stuff and again he did not do it! argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! everything went sooo well in that assignment till this point. =\. lets hope everything will be fine *fingers crossed*

Day 206: Lovely Day

the weather was not great but my day has been wonderful... at a lovely lunch and catch up with Jack today. we went to Nandos for lunch, with a fiesta meal sharing between the two of us. one whole chicken with a side dish (we had the spicy rice) and it was delicious! the chicken was nice, maybe a bit too dried, but overall was excellent and the rice was not so spicy so was perfect for my taste buds =D. after lunch it we just walked around civic having a bit of catch up about uni and everything.

we tried to get into the casino, not that we wanted to gamble, but just wanted to see the casino in canberra. Unfortunately because i was in track pants i was not allowed in =\ (sooooooo prejudice >< )

anyways, i had work tonight too and it was fairly enjoyable =]. i got to drive my manager's, ally, yellow mazada 6 =D. she had no choice before we had to grab stock from another store and no one at work could drive besides me and her. she was worried about her but i had everything under control. job well done =D

now, its not me who is having a big change... in fact is my garjeh louisa's big day today. she is heading up to scotland today (she is from england so not far away, about a 3 hour train trip) and i wish her all the best. she will be there for studies and i hope she will find lots of new friends and most importantly, have heaps of fun and stay safe. don't make people worry about you okay?

back to the southern hemisphere and to australia, today i was sadly trapped inside because it was raining all day =\. so with my time, i watched lots and lots of tvb dramas, well episodes. nearly finished you're hired, nearly up to date with DIE Again as well as finishing the not sooo great A Bride for a Ride. DIE Again and You're hired are gooood shows showing at the same time... so i was watching You're Hired for a while and then stopped and started DIE ahahahahaha..... all good all good love them x3

day 204: raining/gloomy

pened to me today was a odd visit of an owl in my balcony! i was really suprised to see an owl. at first i did

not realise what it was... i looked out the window and was thought to myself *since when we got a little statue of some sort*. i took a closer look and nearly feel onto my assss when i saw an owl. i quickly ran back to my room to grab my phone and snap shot it.... the owl looked cold as its feathers were drenched... i think my housemate scared it away not long after when he went out for a smoke

other than that interesting encounter... the rest was spent at work and it definitely not the best day to walk to work today... it started off fine till i got to the uni soccer fields and it was sprinkling. not long after it was pouring down rain. luckily i had an umbrella but still i was fairly drenched by the time i walked to work. soooo cold and sooooo wet =\.

ohhhh and also today, a friend of mine told me he found a hack for restaurant city on facebook. he managed to get about 500000 gourment points in a few hours! made me very curious and i wanted to try out for myself. but i needed cheat engine which i dont have.... in the end i would like to play the game without cheating =]. play fair and square =].

well garjeh louisa should be busy packing up today because she is leaving for scotland on tuesday. she will be studying on-boards for her course... she is going to beeven more further away from me =\. im going to miss u even more. well i wish all the best in scotland! i love you very much gar. mwahhhh

Lions Are In the Semi-finals!

day 203: similing =]

well this was yesterday's news but i forgot to put it into the lastnight so i thought i would talk about this tonight. BRISBANE LIONS ARE IN THE SEMIS!!!! i was soooooooo stoked at work lastnight when that final siren went seeing lions victorious over carlton in a thriller 111-104 game. this is like lions first time into the finals series after there grand-final loss against the ports back in.... hmmmm.... long ago..... that was their prime years and after that defeat the lion was hiding deep inside the jungle.... but in 2009 after a long sleep, we roared and rule the jungle once again! we only led twice in the game and we led when it mattered. going into final quarter with a few points down and mid to the quarter, we were down by a few GOALS!!! i went off thinking carlton won't let this lead go down, they will just slowly wind down the clock and push up the lions end step by step. i came back right before the game and i was OH MY GODDDDDD!!!! were up by a point!!!!!!!!!!!! then we kicked the winning goal (was Macgrath or Bradshaw cannot remember) in the dying seconds and i was like come on we need to defend this!!! *siren went* and off i was jumping up and down around the score!!!

next game will be up against the western bulldogs... will we roar to the final????

since i started about sports lets continue, Brisbane Broncos won against the Canberra Raiders today =D. after our humiliating 56-nil loss like 6 weeks ago, we stood up and reconstructed our defense (and attack) to win our last 5 games of the season. from what was an season ending blow to a complete 180 degree turn to produce the seasons best! finishing on 6th and making into the finals series for the 18th year in the row! in the first round of the finals, we will be confronted with the titans...

well the Broncos gallop past over the titans???

day 202: nothing special

nothing happened today... woke up and then went to work. that is pretty much my bay ahahahahhaaha. watched a bit of tvb today and well every other days. at the moment i am watching You're Hired (nearly finished only got 2 more eps) and i wished this series went on for a bit longer =\. i love Dayo Wong, he is soooooo funnny!!! and started DIE Again today and so far so good. i generally like this police investigation type series.

did not do much today besides staying at home resting... mustafa picked me up tonight to just go to simones house warming party. we only went to say hi and stuff did not stay long at all. to be honest, i was not interested in going but i thought i would show up to say hi to simone. then atleast i could say to her i went =P. if i knew nothing was going to happen today, i would of went out to civic DURING the day or something... window shopping =]. oh wells... need to relax for the break.

day 200: alcohol ><

what a great way to celebrate the end of the first part of semester two! went out to civic for luiz 20th and pretty much we just club crawled! started off in uni pub and worked our way around the clubs in civic. wants to thanks especially alex and his mate rob for driving me there and even a bigger thanks to amy for driving me back at 4am in the morning! i owe you atleast a coffee...

Epic Drawing Marathon

day 199: Holiday mooooood! =D

5.30am and i can say i finally finished my epic marathon of drawing =]. sooooooo happy at the moment because for the last 8 or so hours all i've been doing was these drawing homework =\ (7weeks of drawing homework in one night ><)... lucky it was only the drawings i had to do... phewwww...

i had a free muffin today! that made my day... i was on the uni hub with amy after the history tute because she was grabbing a coffee and i had to post my tax return forms (finally ahahah after 2months) and the guy at the counter just gave her a free muffin that she gave it to me.... very safisfying muffin. thanks amy <3>

the presentation went very well today... i bit nervous but got over it so im content. got my essay proposal back and the result was better than i expected. very content with history today =D

day 198: happy with myself

finally finished my oral presentation powerpoint and i reckon i did a fairly good job on the powerpoint =]. first time touching that program in years and i still have some of that touch =]. one thing i learn this time was i how to embed a youtube video onto the powerpoint! its amazing ahahahahahaha... now for tomorrow before the presentation is to prepare a bit. i say i wont be nervous but i think i will be helllll nervous before the thing (im going to be shakey and all.. arghhh)
