another day for another late night =\. nearly 4am as of posting and all i did was reading some book i borrowed in the library in search of info for the oral presentation. i have got some good points so that is a good start. my aim is to finish it by tomorrow so i can start my drawing homework. just a few more days till that break.... i can see it already =D

this week has to be just about the worst week yet! oral presentation plus drawing as communication homework is just going to kill my life... in a way i want this week to be over because i will be able to get a break but on the other hand i don't because i kow i willl not have much sleep over the week ><. hope i get through the week with 'some' sort of sleep...

today was very ordinary, woke up early and went to work at 12.... came home at around 7 and started some researching... i turned to youtube but this time was to look for information. something i might put into my presentation. was my weekly homecall time so i called mummy. did not talk much since she had to make dinner. well every week is talking the same thing larrrr but just calling home to tell them im okay and all.

well off to bed, lecture tomorrow that i do not want to go...

day 195: hmmm... sooo gloomy

weather was sooooo gloomy today, i woke up seeing a lot of rain clouds and it looked like it was raining during the night or something since the ground was wet. the sun came out for a while and it started to pour, i was thinkg 'ohh man i need to walk to work in the wet' but when i was about to go to work it stopped raining =]. but it was raining when i was walking home so that sucked =\. im fairly tired... i am sooo not motivated to do my assignment even though i should ><. i got work tomorrow at 12pm which sucks even more !

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my week is going to suck!

day 194: neutral =]

as i was walking home from work tonight, i saw the trees just outside the store was blooming!!! i did not know why i didn't see it on the way to work but that doesn't matter, its not the moral of the story =P. well the moral was that im trying to say, SPRING"S AROUND THE CORNER!!! just about the best season of the year... the temperatures are warm NOT boiling hot, and then there is daylight savings =].

well my day did not go to planned... i was actually planning to go DFO today but woke up a bit late. actually was more like i wanted to sleep rather than go DFO and waste money. and i was really angry this morning! i was catching up on my sleep and right at noon some household from upstairs was cleaning their carpet and it was SOOOOOOOO LOUD!!! it went on for ages and i just could not stand it!!! at first i did not know what was going on and tried ignoring it, but it just kept going for a while and i got sooo annoyed walk upstairs to see what was happening and the carpet cleaner guy was like yeah we're cleaning the carpet... >=[. soooo much for catching up on sleep.

Days 192 & 193: not long now...

finally is coming to an end of the week meaning is nearer to that mid semester break =D. that's the life of a student, looking forward for breaks/holidays all the time ^.^ 2 more tasks to do for the upcoming week which is to finish drawing as communication homework and do my oral presentation for architecture and the modern world. fingercrossed for a smooth week =]

and tonight i thought i would give myself a break from work despite there is still alot to do before mid semester break. surprisingly, i was addicted to this game i found on facebook, dope wars AHAHAHAHAHAHA... pretty much just a game about drug dealer aahahahahahahahahaha... and also spent some time on bejewells blitz, which was quite a pain trying to get high scores. especially when you only get one minute ><. just watching episode 16 of a bride for a ride while eating my belated dinner (like 2am !!!). is one of them lower order tvb line-up that is just there get other series to a hit rate (like burning flames 3, which aired at the same time).

bride for a ride is set in acient china drawing to story between a scholar, a women from the woods (with increible fighting skills), and a town mayor. a lot of dramas goes around the series and there are a lot of things the audience will guess say 'WHAT THE F**K!?' for instance, there was this scene in ep16 that had the appearance of a bear. everyone would say, this is the worst bear costume/acting ever!!!

anywhos, i finished burning flames 3, FINALLY! it was awesome!!! but again the ending was quite predictable and the ending was somewhat similar to the ending of forensic heros... where everyone is having fun at a party and then ends with a call that they need to go to operation. it was fairly sad that Wong Hei was unconscious for half the serious and then when he wakes up he had to suffer soooo much mental distress over his relationship with Myolie. i think they deliberately made it so Kevin gets more attention so he is in the running for best actor. it really shits me when tvb do that!!! but over all it was a worth watching series.

Days 190 & 191: feeling a bit relieved =]

relieved that i got this design tech assignment finished! those drawings was the biggest time consumer... i simply cannot believe i tried doing the same drawing for like 4 or so hours trying to get perfection. it did not end up in perfection no matter i hard i tried, the end result just came out to be crappy =[. the cyclonic column was sooooooooo complex to draw in 3D... in the iso was okay because half of it was covered by the table top but the exploded drawing was sooooo complicated. i just sat there for about an hour thinking which line goes where and eventually it turned out to be the crappest drawing out =\. in the end i finished drawing it and realised spherical/circular stuff in 3D are just way tooooo complex for my mind!

anyways, today i went down to the photocopying labs on level A of building 7 to print out the DT assignment. $18 for an A2 print! woahhhhh that took out a chunk of my wallet especially when i don't work as much (good and bad thing... good that i can concentrate on uni more and bad is that i don't havef money ><) and as i stood there waiting for my print, which took rather a long time, i was thinking this print costed $18 imagine how much money these graphic design students need to waste for their course!!! like seriously they were crazy with them printings... and they print on better quality as well...

this should be it for now... studio work to be complete for submission on thursday and then finish off all my drawing as communication homework for next week... then.... i can see that mid semester break already!!!!

24hour Sleep??? MY GOD!!!

days 188 & 189: what a sleep!!!

i simply cannot believe i sleep for nearly 24hours... i simply slept not long after returning to work on saturday and woke up this afternoon at 3pm! but of course i woke up a few times for toilet breaks. i also had a nightmare! something that have not happened for a long time, and i hope they don't happened again. it was something along the lines of that me, my brother and sister was separated =[. it was really sad and i just woke up ><.

finally finished the information part of the DT assignment. took all day ==, well rest of the day after waking up anyways. i did not do the laundry so that was bad =\. now i need to finish my drawings and figure out how to format it to A2 and then print it in A2... hmmmmmm *wonders*

day 187: rainy

wasn't a good day in terms of weather but not a good day in mood wise either ==. woke up late and pretty much just went to work... the weather just completely kills the mood. stayed back after work since they were drinking. i did not drink tonight since i didn't really put money into the alcohol and that we realised some one stole a 6pack from us! (well them)... hmmm i don't know but just did not feel right tonight ><><.

its 5.30am!!! and i need to get up for work at 12 =\...

days 183-186: So Busy ><

the title is quite self-explanatory ==. it's soooo busy at the moment arghhhh =[. just dying for that mid semester break. i got a Design Tech assignment due next week where i need to research a furniture of the 20th century. i just have to say... it is sooooo hard trying to find out information about a furniture! i mean pretty much all the ones i've seen are ads ==. sooo depressing ><

today went on a site visit for the retreat for dalai lama assignment. was interesting and quite a nice place.... good views and weather was warm. lovely!!!

have not been writing this week well for just one reason.... the internet just keeps on playing around ><...

day 182: normal but the weather was gloomy

again i burnt myself at work but it was not a big deal... im used to it because it happened sooo many times. just got a small burn tonight while cleaning the wrap press. it just so happened to be near the spot i last burnt myself with the fryer oil =\ (and that spot only just started to heal back). thank god alison was manager tonight and not junior. i would of killed myself if i have to work with him for another night.

it rained today, something that have not happened for a while. well i think it rained a bit last week not quite remember ahahahahahahaha... i hate gloomy, rainy days before when i was in sydney working in the rain was a total pain in the ass and now it's the same with going to uni when it rains.

Day 181: quite upset

everything was going smooth today till work =\. i had a manager from another store tonight to replace the manager that suppose to be on tonight. i have heard of that manager from my workmates alot before and was told he was a fairly cool guy. so i was looking forward to work with him tonight. it turned out to be a bad night and thank god i don't need to work with him again tomorrow night. he just pushed me to the limit and there was no way i could not hide it away. i think everyone knew how pissed i was at him. he was such a D**K!!! for instance, he sent me to wash up half way on board and i was like yeah okay. and then 2 minutes later he yelled out my name and i was like what's up and he said 'get these f**ken pans out of my sight'. i was thinking, my god.. full called me out from my job to get them pans out why can't you just grab it and pass it to me???? arghhhhh and just his attitude that pissed me off!

anyways, its quite late and im off to bed. lucky i don't have him on tomorrow night's shift.

Days 175-180: quite angry

did not write for this whole week due to a few reasons, mainly with the slow internet that slow to a point where it was running at under 100 BITS (YES BITS) per second!!! it was sooooooooo frustrating and it's not the first time i rant on about how slow the connections are down in canberra. i mean it's ADSL2+ and it is slower then ADSL!!! other than that i have been quite busy the whole week... i had 2 assignments due, one for architecture design and one for architecture and the modern world.

had a mini presentation with my studio project this week which went okay. it was not going towards my marks but just getting some practice and giving more info to the tutor. i really don't agree to the one tutor marking scheme! last semester, all the tutors and lecturer marked our projects. and not to be racist or anything but i seriously don't like my tutor, i cannot udnerstand what he is saying and he speaks soooooooooo soft... got my major project for studio and is designing a retreat for the dalai lama. my thoughts; CHALLENGING which makes it HARD.

today made me worried a bit because i handed in my essay proposal 4mins late =\. i thought it was due at 5pm but luckily i read the outline before 4pm and run to uni at 3.30 to print it off. by the time i got to uni i still had enough time to print it off and hand it in BUT unfortunate events does happen at the wrong time =[. first i went to the computer labs to try printing it off. only one printer in the labs and this guy in front of me was like printing a TEXTNBOOK!!! by the time i got to print, for soem stupid reason it didn't print so i had to run to the library and again was struck with the same problem! this guy was scanning something and the printer just stuffed up ==. had to resend it to another printer and made me 4mins late ><. if i get a 10% late penalty it would be the lamest late penalty ever.

Days 173 & 174: procrastinating

well firstly, did not post last night as my net is sooooooooo slow. slow to a point where i cannot even load facebook =\. im just forever so disappointed with internet down here.

i had wok-it-up for dinner on friday. thanks to daniel getting it for me (well technically he owes me money so yeah ahahahaha). i had the sate chick with hokkien nooodles..... hmmmmmmmmmmmm yummmmmmmmm writing about it just makes me hungry. it's amazing how the juices don;t leak out or anything since they put their noodles in a box (just like the american chinese takeaways =]) i had it after work so it cooled down a bit and you know how oil has that really thick taste when it's cold? should of reheated it but oh well... still warm and still satisfying =].

nothing much on my saturday... last shift till i work again on thursday. so pretty much i have the week off. good thing i guess because i can get some homework done *fingerscrossed*. was fairly busy at work tonight but not as busy as it was during the day after talking to matt before work.

well let's hope i can get something done tomorrow =]

Life Drawing

day 172: happy till work ><

today went by fairly quick till work which made it like hell!

my studio class this morning was pretty much just discussing about our submission on next tuesday and all. i really really feel this assignment is like made up week and week. quite unorganised to be honest. we had an hour break in between class and we had a craving for sushi. my friends, jordan, caroline and luiz said there is this reallly good sushi place (called mee's sushi) but it was all the way in Manuka. but we still drove all the way there (about like a 30 min drive frmo uni, coz it is like on the other side of canberra) and i had to say that place is fairly good. worth the drive! don't know if it was worth missing our DT lecture though AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA because we came back 20mins into the lecture and we just decided to bail. went to the library and researched a bit for our assignment.

LIFE DRAWING!!! that was like the highlight of my day, after the sushi run ahahahaha, and i never though drawing naked people could be enjoyable =]. the whole 2 hours of life drawing went sooo quick! we pretty much just did a lot of drawings of Leo, our life drawing model =]. he was a nice man and just enjoyed being part of it and actually enjoys looking at our work and stuff. what amazed me today was that i could actually draw with my LEFT HAND!!! it was interesting how my left hand drawings were actually really good. in my eyes =]. the only problem i had was not able to fit the whole drawing on the paper ( a problem i had with drawing/sketching for like ever ==, hence it explains why my sketches of cartoon characters back in the days was like one a4 paper for one sectin and then fixed them together via computer ahahahahaha...)

100 Marks

Day 171: fairly annoyed

now i have to say, that 100 marks homework from drawings as communication was just about the hardest thing i have done for a while! i mean playing with ink sounds messy already but having to make 100 marks from random/interesting/unusual things? that was a mission to find! especially for me, with barely anything in my room other than things that i need to survive on my own ==. plus the house pretty i share is fairly bare with nothing more than what you would find in my room. i pretty much had to go through rubbish bin to see if i could find anything. i failed making the 100 mark, think i gave up at about 80 because i just could not find anything anymore =\. i will just have to say that we got some done already in class from the first tutorial. that will add up to about 100 =]. and then the studio homework where we need to research types of concept plans. did not really explained in class and i just looked at some and they all seem the same ><. i really cannot see much of a difference. maybe the lateness and tiredness are the problem of this. well anyways, that's it for me. nights <3

Day 170: no mood

i guess i could say i am never in the mood to do any sort of homework. i had the whole day off after my studio lesson today and i did not manage to do anything besides watching 'burning flames 3'. Procrastination is my biggest problem and that has been with me for my whole life. but than again, i think everyone has this issue =].

also tried making yellow cake after eating it william's place a long long time ago. result? EPIC FAIL! told him on msn that i should take some cooking lessons with his mum ^^.

i forgot to write yesterday... most probably because i did not get much sleep on the night before and i had to wake up like 5hours later for work at 11am! i fell asleep (nap) after work and just happened to forget to write since i was doing my homework while playing games AHAHAHAHAHAHA...

finally my awaited 2 days off =]... was quite a late close tonight because... well i don't quite know ><. my drawing as communication lecture today was a bit confusing as i did not quite catch what the lecturer was trying to convey. it will be a bit of a pain in the ass when i need to write a lecture response for the tutorial ><. hopefully i will use these 2 days off from work to catch up on homework.

day 167: happy =]

pinch and punch for the first day of the month =P

i found my usb!!! Jin was right, when you're not looking for it, it will pop back out. i was like i think i loss it because i went over everything. BUT tonight i when i got home i was emptying out my work-jacket's pockets and i was like 'what the hell is that?'. i pulled it out and there it was! MY USB!!! im sooo happy that i found it.

got home at like 3am, because i was staying at work for ages despite finishing at like 5pm! erin told me to stay so we could walk up to maccas at like 7pm but eventuallly i stayed till close and we just had a few drinks and all (because sam was so nice to actually have the group staying back for a while since i can't go over to his place as it's too far for me to walk back). well i guess that ruined my plans and i got nobody to blame but myself. i was suppose come home and do my homework after work =[. but i probably wouldn't be motivated anyways ><. well that is enough for me since i need to wake up early again for an early shift >< i didn't think i had to work on sunday!!! argh
