165: not very into that study mood =[
today i kind of did something bad, but was not the first time doing it. just did not know it would be such a problem ><. i kind of skipped my studio lesson today because i, well, half slept in and half simply did not want to go!. i rocked up and my lecturer had a little go at me and i was ekkkkk ><' (if that was ann, semester one unit convenor, she would not even care and sometimes she even expects us not to come. whereas Kathrine was a bit more strict and such ><)
but tonight after work i am completely not motivated with uni work >< i kind of got a fair bit of homework throughout the weekend. but what can i say i guess i am never in that mood for school =[.

day 164: quite happy
i really hate filling forms, i mean i hate it with a passion! especially ones where they ask the most stupid questions such as them statistic one for the beau. but today since jordan was going to belconnen i asked her for a lift so i don't need to walk =] (soooo lazy i know) but thanks jordan anyways. went in to work so i could get sam to help me fill in the form for it and it he did it pretty quite and for the rest of the night i was not doing much (thought i should really start on some uni work)

Day 163: content
quite content today because i finally got my timetable sorted. it was not a pleasant trying to change my architecture and the modern world tutorial but i finally got it. happy happy happy =D.
besides that i have been getting a bit of trouble at home. every night when i use the hair-dryer the power goes off. i think it's because there's way too much appliances running at the same time. before when my house mate was overseas that never happened. since he came back it had happened every night when my hair-dryers on full blast (highest level on the dryer) while my housemate has a heater and an electric blanket turned on ><. so i think to solve it i need to either dry my hair naturally or use the dryer in the lowest level ==.

Tired For Some Reason ><

day 162: tired ><
maybe because i had uni at 2.30 and then work at like 5 to close, but other than that i cannot think of a reason why i'm sooooo tired tonight ><. drawings as communication sounds sooooo hard >< and seem to be a lot of work and money as well... stupid equipments. well i finally got my tutorial for that unit fixed =]. and my god there is like 300 students enrolled in that unit!!! today's lecture was actually enjoyable AHAHAHAHAHAHA the lecturer we had, Bill Green, had a scottish accent (maybe irish =\) and the way he delievered the lecture was interesting. site visit was such a fail today, most of them didn't show up and me, caroline and mustafa just walked for like 10mins and took and a few pictures.

Bad Wake Up Call =[

day 161: not bad, somewhat cold
was not the wake up call i expected for my sunday mornings, i woke up to a call from work asking if i could do a shift today. well since i was a bit tight on monday and uni is still easy-going i said yes. rocked up to work at 12.30ish and we were slammed! me and matt kept making burgers for about 2 and an hours! literally! because the canberra raiders were playing at home today =[. me and matt was sooo dead and both was hungry since we didn't get a chance to eat breakfast. we were short staffed due to 3 people did not show or showed up but went home sick *wink wink*. =='.
well besides that after work, was raining and luckily matt's housemate was able to give me a ride home so thank you. did not do much at home besides read the last parts of that chapter for drawings. watched a bit of off pedder and was sooooo hungry at midnight that i could not help but made myself something to eat.

Locked Myself Out =[

day 160: soooooo stupid!
i paid $60 today for a lesson i will never forget! i locked myself and my housemate out for about an hour today. ended up calling the locksmith and for a 30sec job the bill was 120. i was thinking all night, why was i sooooo dumb to close the door on myself >=[. that was sure a lesson learn because it was a $60 lesson.

Blue!!!

day 159: quite content =]
friday! finally my only day off from uni this semester meaning i have a long weekend =D. spent my day off in civic getting a haircut and watching off pedder (finally, have not seen it for ages). supposedly i was going to go back to the site with my group for the assignment but one of them did not feel well so it's postpone.
i dyed my hair BLUE!!! oh my god i feels weird because it's the first time i ever dyed my hair ==. it's not really dyed, it's fudge so much more easier to get rid off. because it was a last minute thing, i had to rebook the appointment so eventually i had to wait another 2 hours. ended up just walking around canberra centre =]
well i finished watching 'threshold of a persona' and 'great way to care' in the holidays and my thoughts about it were quite good. both were interesting but if i was to choose one storyline out of the two i would pick 'great way to care'. generally when it comes to tvb, i like to watch genres like comedy and/or police files kind of things, and 'great way to care' just links the concept of that police file genre nicely with ideas of psychology. engaging the psychological sides of nature to solve every case is interesting. meanwhile 'threshold of a persona' was not a bad series either. revolves around the Immigration Department and how they are involve in preventing illegal immigrants entering Hong Kong as well as other cases where they are teamed up with the police department. teaches you a lot about the Immigration Department, the cases they follow and their everyday job!

day 158: a bit sick ><
just have not been my day the past few days, today was my studio site visit for project one where we need to plan a temporary village for bushfire victims. it happened to be pouring down rain when we were going to go (just behind our building in the cow paddock ahahahaha), so while the lecturer had the luxury of being dry under an umbrella the students were getting soaked!!! i think with that made my sickness worst ><. YEAHHHHH i won myself 5bucks today for doing this survey for a PHD student! that pretty much lightened my day and i blew it on lunch. a nice subway. yummmmmmm

i have nothing to say about my day except ANGRY! i cannot believe it! i went to student centre today with my concerns for my timetable, they said i was enrolled properly and it must be something wrong with the system. they cannot do nothing about it and just told me to go to my classes. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR... sooooo angry!!! and i'm soooo worried as well. ='[

day 156: NOT HAPPY!
okay UC's OSIS finally works and i finally enrolled. but now i come up with the problem that my units are not showing on my timetable! argh!!! soooooo frustrating!
but on the other hand, had my lecture for arch desogn today and the preview for this semester sounds interesting but at the same time a bit challenging (meaning it's going to give me a hell of a time ><). went to civic with jordan and simone since i had no tutes afterwards. was fun.... kind of ahahahaha.

Semester 2.... Booooohooooo =\

day 155: sad =\
it was back to uni today and first day back i had to waste nearly $100 dollars buying equipment for just ONE unit! uni is such a waste of money... time consuming and money wasting, little to say about if you don't do good or even worst to redo the unit again because you failed it!
Sam, manager, said if i want to work i could work so i might as well work to save up (well can't save up since the money are gone to rent fees) and i was there already to check rosters. finished extremely early tonight and sat down for a talk with sam after finishing close. quite an interesting and COLD talk.

day 154: depressing =[
i can't believe my holidays went by soooooo quick! already it's last day already =[. still cannot enroll as the system is down but i still need to go class according to my 'selected' units. hope its enjoyable and hope my workload is not toooo much ><. on the other hand, again work tonight was crap! under staffed again as there one no show which was the person that know front. so after 8 we had no one at front besides the manager. was not enjoyable having to do front close and all but was a bit better with the help of asanka =]. he is just sooo great with closes, he is soooo fast its unbelieveable!
well off to bed and ready for uni.... boohoooo

Home Sweet Home (Recount)
Friday 10/07/09 to Saturday 18/07/09
Days 145 to 153: Happy!!!
friday started with an early wake up call to go to jolimont bus service centre in civic for my 3 hour trip back home! was some early wake up i did not mind... got to jolimont about 30mins prior the time but the bus also left early so lucky me i got there early ^^. my 3 hour trip was boring and a bit uncomformtable as i had my bag with me (should of put it in the luggage boot) and watched like 2 episodes of 'threshold of a persona' on the way back with my laptop. arrived at sydney central station at about 12.30 and spent a few hours walking around sydney. quite interesting but at the same time i felt a bit disappointed after i did not know the directions to opera house when a couple asked =[. trained back to liverpool and was a heck of a time trying to get william a last minute present. i eventually got him a musical instrument, the keyboard, which was something he wanted. AND nooooo it was not a classy, expensive one, only a standard cheapy one as im poor ><. kind of surprised him at the door. the rest of the night was just help setting up and chill.
the next night was the big night for our big boy william! his 18th went off!!! awesome time, plenty of drinks, laughs and of course FOOD! william's mum's cooking are the BEST!!! thanks for everything william and family! love you lots. i would gave you a hug but you were not there when i went >< today!!!
first time seeing my family since i left for canberra in feb. was really happy to see them again. now for the rest my week will probably be bumming at home since my parents have not changed AHAHAHAHHAHAHA so they won't let me out, BUT hopefully i get to see the good friends, the family, again before heading back to canberra. =D
monday and tuesday was just the usual at home. helped out my parents as much as possible and god was i happy to eat home meal again! even though i cooked them but still... have a better range and more vegies to choose from. and my mummys 'lo for tong' soooooo long since i drank them. it tasted soooooo good =]
went to watch harry potter and the half blood prince on wednesday with the group (william, naca, slavce, andy, tea, kimmy and archy. alan came along but did not watch the movie). my opinion of the movie? i reckon it was a rubbish for a harry potter film, no action and just yapped on about nothing really. emily watson! oh my god she is hot LOL.
my brother took me to liverpool (well technically i did because i was driving and god did i miss driving as well as that sexy car) to get me a portable harddrive. did not do much for the rest of the day and i had a final dinner with the whole family so it was all goood.
lucky my dad had to go city on friday so i did not have to train it out to central. he took me yumcha at zilver before leaving. not too bad except everything when i go yumcha it always take ages for people to push food to our table ahahahahaha... had to wave goodbye once again and i was on my way back to canberra =[.
and today was pretty much just slept and i had to work =[. the manager was soooo unorganised that he did not even confirm shift prior tonight. not a good way to come back to work >< had like 4 people on the whole night ==.
ohhhh and yeah... i finally received my approval letter for citizenship =D it took like nearly a year and of course i was not happy =[.
well that was my recount for the week i was at sydney... overall i had a great time. was good catching up with most of my friends and got to see the family again!

Days 143 & 144: upset, disappointing but happy at the end
i did not feel okay after work on wednesday night. again due to alcohol >< i didn't drink much but still did not feel okay. i'm a weak drinker so give me a break =\. but i'm all good now after my sleep.
today was quite disappointing and upset. not like really pissed upset just more disappointed jeh. it was hard to get a thursday off and plus its my last day here in canberra before going back home for a week. so i wanted to spend the day with my special mui lar because she only has tuesdays and thursdays off and that tuesday she had to work (she took monday off to go to sydney with her family). i tried calling her all day and night this whole week but she never picked up =\ at first i was disappointed but today after trying all day i started to worry abit if she was okay as it sounded like her phone was off =\. in the end i spent the whole day watching threshold of a persona, a tvb series that just finished. only had time to watch it now >< not bad not bad just talks about the immigration department trying to prevent illegal immigrants entering Honh Kong as well as other boardline secruity stuff.

13hrs @ Work AHAHAHAHAHAHA

day 140: was cold, in fact -2 as posting ><'.
my day started off with late to work, about 20mins late but what can i expect from doing close and slept at 5 then had to wake up at 10 to go work ><. quite hard actually ahahahaha happen to go late to work whenever i have a day shift ahahahahah. had a 7 hour shift without breaks because my lateness compensated for my break. finished work at 6 but eventually stay till close. me and daniel both finished but we just hang around since we had nothing to do if we came home anyways. overall it's all goood lar.
hey, steph is going to sydney for the day tomorrow. HAVE FUN =D!

OH EM GEE!!! just realised something tonight about andy! something i never knew he knows ahahahhaha he can play the piano! i swear that kid is talented and damn he was good... disappointing that he will not be at william's 18th ='[. he planned bathurst bball trip a while back. soooo sad i cant drink with him ><, it's the only time i will drink and he won't be there =[. well let's hope i will catch up with him anyways. one week does fly.

day 138: tipsy
i am feeling a bit tipsy but still manage to remember to right on my blog. such a good time drinking with workmates after work. totally worth it ahahahahaha. james was totally wasted ahahahha we made him drink so much ^^. i going to lay in my bed. it sucks sooo bad that asians don't have the enzymes to hide the redness when we drink ><

Finished Closed At 1.30am!

Day 137: cold and rainy
because john, the national manager, is coming in on friday so for the past 2 nights me and daniel basically just cleaned the whole damn store. every spot and every inch had to be spotless! quite satistied with our work even though we finished at 1.30am! he better say it's good, though i highly doubt. they get paid millions per year to criticise how 'shit' their own stores are ==.
finallly getting a break from work tomorrow, only day of the week i have off ><.

day 137: cloudy and a bit of rain
was a fun time at work tonight... did not make one burger !!! yeahhhhhh!!!! xD all i did tonight was clean clean and more cleaning... because john, the national manager is coming in on friday so everything needs to be spotless. have to do it again tomorrow night again.
came back home and turned on the tv for wimbeldon. men's quarter final roddick vs hewitt! i had it on but did not pay much attention to it as roddick was winning at the time and i thought ehhhh hewitt won;t really have a good match with roddick. hewitt is not in form for the past few grand slams. till a friend of mine said hewitt is matching up with roddick and hewitt was a coming back on the fourth set. after playing on my housemate's ps2 i turned back to the tennis and was on the fifth set already! i sat down to watch that last set and it was intense! it was pretty much in a dead lock till roddick broke hewitt's serve at 4 games a piece and from there it was all roddick. =D. really disappointed that nadal pulled out of the wimbeldon ='[ and tsonga did not get to quarters ='[.
