day 105: shit..... of history!!!
grrrr i hate history... studying it make it even worst well i like some parts of history (eg the more recent like modern history) just not the stupid 17th century and stuff like that. i always remember Mr Kingsley's comment on history, 'why study something that is in the past, look forward at the future?' ahhhh great comment! just why do we need to study something that is in the past... focus on the future!

day 104: quite cold during the night
after work i got home and started completing my study guide for arch hist but like always getting sidetracked every now and then. stupid pool on miniclip (quite an addictive game =]) and family guy =\. and also my i don't like the unit so make it evern more slower and easier to get sidetracked. but hopefully tomorrow i get another chapter or 2 done. i need to study for the civilisation hist exam as well and thats on tuesday ><. grrrrr soo packed

Lets Get Started!

days 101-103: headache ><
over the past few days i been getting headaches and felt really tired. so on both occasions i felt asleep without writing on the blog ><.
next week is packed with 2 exams and one assessment... so it's time to get down and dirty. study time! booooohoooooooooooooo... hopefully i do good, don't want the last weeks to let my semester down.
today i thought i had work at 12 so i rocked up to work at 12 to realize i looked at tomorrows rosters. silly me! but i ended up working for that shift i mistaken to be today but was not pleasant lor. had to work with two high managers and all they did was pick on us... i mean you want to have fast service time but at the same time you want us to do all these things that would be the same if we did it our way anyway. we were not to drink on my shifts, only our breaks... but they drink AND EAT (lets not get into all that product stealing stuff ==') i mean in summer this heat is going to kill us! if you damn managers don't let us drink you are no better than killers. and the airconditioning in the kitchen OH MY GOD! the managers turned it down because they said it was 'too cold' WHAT THE BEEP! try working all day/night in the kitchen and you feel how f**ken hot it is!!! what all you high levelled managers do is come in and yap about what we're doing wrong and check out stuff on the computer... and also, they owe me a week of pay that i constantly ask if they could get it fixed. their reply is always 'yeah don't worry we will get it fixed asap.' MY ASS they would! its been months!!! grrrrrr sooooooo damn angry when it comes to that...
anyways thats pretty much all i need to say
on a more positive note... congratulations to barcelona beating man u 2-nil to claim the championships... *thumbs up* well done =D

dear slavce and your family
i do not know how to express my sincere thank you for the time this weekend. at the same time i want to say sorry for bothering you guys. you provided me with food and shelter for the whole weekend. this might not be big to yous but to me was a big gift and was such a warm feeling i received from the you guys. you always treated me not like a guest but like a part of the family.
to slavce, thank you sooooo much for inviting me to such a memorable bday. P.S i owe you a present. that $50 i forced you to have was like rent for the weekend. and all the expenses it incurred on me during my stay. best of luck with everything. stay safe while you're having fun! think before you act. <3

yeah...!!! =D i got a credit for my online structures exams. not what i aimed for but what can i do. the exam was a bit weird and the questions were so tricky. oh wells... im happy with a credit. =D

days 95-99: happy happy happy!
i apologise for not posting since thursday. as i might already told you i was going to leave for sydney on thursday night for a good friend's, slavce's, 18th. walked from hoxton shops to his place and found out alot has changed. alot of road works and a new service station! luckily i still remember how to walk to his place. after arriving just chilled with steve and jonny until his parents came home. like the old days got a warm welcome. they showed me where i would be sleeping and stuff and that was my shelter for the weekend =]
friday woke up at 6am (have not woken up this early since high school!) i decided to follow slavce to uni and we met up with william at tway to go station. i had to pay full fare for both train and bus because i my ID card don't have that concession thing >< but i rather not risk it (did not want a $200 fine like linda, poor girl). got to the city walked into uts. what a nice uni! but the lecture was hell boring... hoo mo liu ar == but what lecture isnt boring. making me think about transferring back but there was a downside, when i was at his lectures it seem to be more strict than UC. but closer to family and close friend wor... tough tough decision.
saturday was the big day! woke up early once again. started to help set up for the party. besides andy, william, slavce himself, on one really knew i was going to be at the party so it was a good surprise esp kim when i scared her hehehehehehehe... i drank alcohol for the first time, well like actually drinking not trying, and yes its you going to laugh but oh well. i simply had no excuse not to and slavce's parents were forcing me to ahahahahaha... was such a good night. getting to see most of my good friends again. they all still look the same but apparently i look whiter ==. met some new ones, well only one and that was williams gf which i call her icetea =]. alot of memorable moments seeing people drunk was hilarious. steve and andy what funny drunks! memorable party slavce... memorable.
sunday was simply backing up, resting and saying goodbye to my good buddys. monday was goodbye to slavce and his family and back to canberra. such a sad moment having to say goodbye to everyone. had a bit of tears but what can i do ><.
the only thing i did not get to do and im really dissappointed about it was that i did not get a chance to see anita =[. i planned to go see her but i did not know how i could simply just walk out of slavce's place without accompany slavce or something. it's just a bit rude if you get what i mean. i really wanted to but i couldnt ><. i just wished you could came to the city when i texted you. another time??? lets hope.

day 94: weird exam ==
well happy after handing in my assignment (maybe i be blessed with a pass or over) and went to civic to treat myself to some shopping hehehehehe... a very good mood all day because im going back to sydney tomorrow for slavce's 18th. looking forward for it and thank him and his family in advance for letting me crash at their place.
had a little mood change after work when i came home and started doing my online structures exam for design tech... it was awkward how some of the multiple choice answers were written wrong. like option c) both c and d ==. double-check your work before asking your students to complete it. and some questions were quite tricky! bless me to do good in that too heheheheh... im so greedy.
anita got a credit for the essay she was full worried about... i told you you will pass!!! congratulation lar!!! you did well! *pat pat*
well i might bring my laptop along to continue updating or if not i will resume on monday when i come back. take care!

Yeahhhhh! My Design Tech House Model Got Accreditation!
made me very very very happy to hear from my tutor that my group did really good and that it got accreditation for it. something about its going to be kept for a while to be displayed =]... what made me even happier was that i new the model stuff was all my own work. SATISFIED!

after yet another all-nighter, well this time i actually did not sleep, i finally finished this stupid essay this morning. happier than ever! fell asleep in that lecture today which was embarrassing considering the lecture was empty so the lecturer would of spotted me sleeping ><. my dad ended in a bit of anger when i tried to print out my assignment in building 7 (design faculty) after work. the printer at that lab was not working for some stupid reason... so like i sent the document like 4 times and probably ate my money >< soooo damn pissed!

well after a lazy day, mainly due to procrastination, but working okay at night. im nearing the end of this stuipd history essay. i think i have developed an nocturnal lifestyle... i mean i woke up at like midday today and after making jok (congee) i felt tired again ><>< not feeling much of that tiredness...
happy note... i talked to anita for the first time after like yonks and baobao mui as well she sort of disappeared from my life for a while. glad you guys started talking to me again.

Days 90 & 91: sat and stared ==
the the last two days i have just sat in front of the laptop and stared onto the monitor. cluessless about the essay i need to do. only written up the intro and the content im clueless of. the outline doesnt really say much nor did we even spoken about it in our tutorials. so i somehow need to write a bunch of 'crap' about how this book is this and that ==. soooooo gay!
besides that i have not got much done the past 2 days... if i had time i would of slept anyways considering i have been taking time from my bed these days.

day 89: quite cold and rainy
i slept at 9am this morning >< while one of my housemates were going to uni i was getting ready for bed =]. but but but i finally got my architecture history essay out of the way! now i need to concentrate on my civilisation history essay. another 50% weighting assignment that is going to stress me out a lot for the next few days. however, after that assignment i will be more relaxed! cant wait!
on another note... bad one =\. my housemates nearly burnt the place down tonight by leaving the stove on while they went to karaoke. as i was about to open the door i just smelt burns and i was like oh sh!t they left the stove on again! the entire place was filled with white smoke! had to quickly run to the kitchen to turn the stove off and then into every room to open the windows and the balcony. according to my housemates just then it has been there for about 5hours! and now it smells!

emotional breakup during lastnight when my internet was down! i was like NOOOOOOO I NEED THE INTERNET FOR MY 2 50% WEIGHING ESSAYS!!! on the brink of crying it worked again and it was noly then i could calm down a bit.

my model is close to completion! i left out a few details because they are simply tooooo hard ROFL... hope my tutor don't pick it up although the chances are slight. i don't care, it looks satisfying and i did my best. after that i need to finish my essay which i hope it isn't hard. fingers crossed ><.

Caution! Fragile...

Day 83: quite warm
the house model is slowly getting to its shape! pieces are getting together every hour and i have to say the frame work is really really fragile ><. because they were really thin and small pieces it was quite hard to work with. now it looks a bit fragile so let's hope it don't break. the framework however are a bit off track as i don't have the adequate pictures/information so i made an educated guess.
hmmm yummmmy yummmmmy... just had pancakes and this can soup. but the can soup i added chicken, frozen vegies and fresh mushrooms. equates to a nice warm soup.
on the blog date and everything is 9th but as im writing this it's 10th. which means!!! HAPPY BDAY to someone special... you know who you are gar lar. i will leave another note in tomorrow's post. and also happy mother's day!

Wrong Way

Day 82: kind of cold
just when i was about to sleep i picked up my model and found out i stuck one part the wrong way around! as careful as i could i removed them and glued them to the right way. close to finishing... getting to the hard parts with the framework ><... need to cut small pieces which is a pain in the butt. well i have not had much sleep lately so i better go sleep...

Duncan! We're In First Year NOT Fifth!

Day 81: warm day but cold night
as you may already know im building a scaled model of marika-abberton house and today i took the model to my tutorial as ti work on it with my group. and my tutor, Duncan, always think this is a fifth year achitecture class! he expects like sooo much.... i mean first model buidling project for the unit and its actually a house. on top of that, some of us have never had experience with model making. that is my group members. they both do landscape and they have not got any experience in model making. i have a bit but does not mean we, first year, to have a fifth year student's expectations. i mean a standards a must but why so high???
this morning i watched the champions league semis (barca vs chelsea) with oen of my housemates. the game was soooo unfair! the ref was totally blind! handballs, illegal attcks and such all inside the box were not called! that was so crucial to chelsea especially that handball inside the box right after barca scored. ><><

day 80: all nighter?
well 6am and i finally finished what was my task for the day with the project. below is a picture of what it looks like at the moment. is a 1:50 Scaled model of the marika-abberton house located in Northern Territory.
helped janice moved her stuff out of my place to her new room in unilodge. she was soooooo stubborn and didn't let me carry the heavy bags ==. was just trying make your life easier jeh. her stuff has been sitting on te unused corner of my room for the past month and now its removed i feel empty ahahahahahaha... well hope it helped lar. enjoy unilodge because it's good!
any one wants to buy a MACBOOK AIR??? please tell me if you do ahahahaha...
wondering if anita finished all her assignments that was due today? she must be very very very tired. have a good rest lar! <3

What A Bright Day!

day 79: perfect day
although i finished my architecture design assignment at like 6.30 in the morning, the one compliment i received was indeed satisfying. ann, my lecturer, when she went around to take photo records of everybody's works she came to mine and picked it up and said 'steven, your model has quite a good feel to it. good work!'. at that second i was like that made my day. after class i came home to make breakfast even though i supposed to be in another lecture but i thought food was more important =]. and i saw an email which made my day even better but i won't get into detail with that (private things) hehehehehe...
overall... BRIGHT DAY!!!

my last few day has been so tiring... work and assignment have drained my energy and my brain juice >< break ="\.">
nothing much special today... worked and talked to a friend from uni after and now im home eating passionfruit yoghurt at like 4 am ahahahahaha

Sleep, Eat, Work and Assignment

Day 76: busy ==
my title pretty much explains my life today and the past few days... well maybe everyday since i came down here. this is really tiring and cannot wait till i have a big break. after these assignment my life will be a bit more relaxed. hopefully. up again tonight but spent half of this time trying to finish king of snooker hehehehehe... when i suppose to be doing my model ><. not a bad series ar, okay wor. but yeah the cgi wrecks the whole thing and the storyline is hoo tvb lor... aiiii what can i say ar... as long as i get a bit of entertainment.
well get back to it =D.

Day 75: tired
my second architecture design assignment is getting to me, so challenging and forever hard to do. my tutor told me not to look at it from just one angle. so i spent all of lastnight trying to fix it. i was considering to start a new one with a completely new design but i did not want to change my design ><. now im clueless and stuck. whatever i did lastnight was a total chaos and it looks shit.
another sleepless night i guess...
